Freddie blazes in Malaysia & Bali |
STRIC'S
Freddie Croneborg completed in 3 races in 7 days in
two countries. He came 2nd in the Sarawak
International Triathlon sprint race and 3rd the
following day in the Olympic then he flew to Bali
and came 2nd overall and 1st in his age group losing
only to invited Pro Luke Mackenzie who won IM Japan
the weekend before. Go Freddie!!! |

STRIC'S
Andrew Hay had another great race where he came 9th overall in
Bali. Andrew came 2nd in his age group.
Amazing how he does this with his busy work schedule. |

STRIC'S
Bernd Pichler did what we consider is amazing.
Not only is this his first triathlon but he finished
one of the hottest events ever recorded in Ironman
history. Go Bernd. |

STRIC
Well Represented In IM China |
We
were very well represented at the 1st IM
China event in Haikou April 2008. There were 17 members from 14
countries flying the STRIC flag making us one of
the biggest Clubs. |

There

event. 2008 sees a new circuit, flat and fast is the

Ironman China Opens 09 Registrations

Registration
for 2009 Ironman China and Ironman 70.3 China is now open.
The races will be held again in Haikou, Hainan Island on
April 19th 2009.

STRIC's Freddie
2nd at His Debut 70.3 in China
STRIC's
Freddie Croneborg had a great day in what is being held as
one of the 'hottest' Ironman events in history. The day
prior to the event saw the tail end of an early season
Typhoon with heavy rain and strong winds with the prediction
of clearing sunny sky and high humidity with early to mid 30's
temperatures.
