Sunday February 17, 2008 - STRIC Triathlete Freddie Croneborg took first place at the National University of Singapore Biathlon 2008 in the Men's Open category. This event was a 1.5km swim followed by a 10km run. There was a field of almost 200 athletes from all walks of life, many very strong local competitors.

Freddie had a strong swim finishing in 24.23 seconds followed by the run of the day, a blazing 32.56 10km making a total win time of 57.19. The 2nd place getter was 30 seconds behind.
